Ethiopia is well-known for being the home of Arabica coffee (C. arabica), highly
regarded for its outstanding quality, unique aroma, and flavor. Ethiopians and
coffee’s relationship is deep-rooted, and coffee production and consumption are
closely intertwined with Ethiopian history, culture, and economy.
Haider Abamecha Coffee Export is a solely owned company that owns 532
hectares of coffee plantation, which is located in southwestern Ethiopia, Jimma
Zone Limu Kossa Woreda, Acha’a Kella Gabisaa, about 40km from Jimma City at
an altitude of 1900–2065 m above sea level in the heart of the region where Limu
coffee is harvested having good cup, sweet, spicy/winey flavor balanced body. On
the other hand, the company has two wet processing and one modern export coffee
processing industry in Shaggar City, Gafarsa Guje sub city Kolobo.
Only ripe red cherries are hand-picked from our 532-hectare farm in Limu Kossa (1900–2065m altitude). Ensures sweet, complex flavors from slow maturation.
Washed Process (Our Specialty):

Processed in our modern wet mills for consistency.
Sun-Dried (Natural):
Cherries dried whole for bold, fruity notes.
Sun-dried on raised beds (10–20 days) to preserve quality. Graded & sorted by size, weight, and color (Q1/Q2 specialty standards).
