Haider Abamecha Coffee – Premium Ethiopian Arabica from Jimma’s Limu Kossa Ethiopia, the birthplace of Arabica coffee (C. arabica), is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional coffee quality, rich aroma, and distinctive flavors. Coffee is deeply woven into Ethiopia’s history, culture, and economy, making it more than just a crop—it’s a legacy.
Haider Abamecha Coffee Export proudly contributes to this heritage with 532 hectares of lush coffee plantations nestled in the southwestern highlands of Ethiopia, specifically in the Jimma Zone, Limu Kossa Woreda, Acha’a Kella Gabisaa. Located just 40km from Jimma City, our farm thrives at an elevation of 1,900–2,065 meters above sea level—an ideal altitude for cultivating high-grade Arabica coffee.
This region is renowned for producing Limu coffee, distinguished by its sweet, spicy/winey flavor, balanced body, and bright acidity, earning it a reputation for superior cup quality. Our coffee benefits from the fertile soils, optimal rainfall, and traditional farming practices passed down through generations.
To ensure the highest quality, we operate two wet processing stations near the farm and a modern coffee processing facility in Shaggar City (Gafarsa Guje, Kolobo), allowing us to meticulously control every stage—from cherry selection to export-ready green beans.
